Waldesruh (“forest peace”) – with us, the name says it all. Whether you come on your own, as a couple or as a family, our small country hotel with its wonderful panoramic view into the valley and over the gentle surrounding hills is just the right place to simply unwind.

Right on the edge of the forest, our family-run hotel is the ideal starting point for numerous hiking, Nordic walking, cycling and motorcycle tours. Surrounded by forests, meadows and fields, nature lovers will find everything their heart desires.
Hotel facilities
The Waldesruh holiday hotel has a reception, a restaurant, a panoramic sun terrace, cosy guest rooms, a holiday apartment, a campsite and a garden with a sunbathing lawn, outdoor shower and Kneipp wading pool. The little ones can let off steam in the children's playground.
Surroundings
The centre of Furth im Wald – the small border town known for the Drachenstich, Germany's oldest folk play, held every year – is 5 kilometres from our hotel.
It is only 8 kilometres to the Czech border.
